2006年（平成18年）、建築家・渡辺明の設計によって三千坪の敷地内に集合別邸が増築されました。
木と土という最も自然的な要素をもつ素材を使用した建物は、数寄屋建築の伝統を受け継ぎつつ、現代的に和を表現した意匠へと展開し、全体の調和を作り出しています。
富士川の砂と土を積層させた版築壁は、陽の移り変わりにより、土の堅さと柔らかさの表情を刻一刻と変化させながら風景に溶け込みます。また、屋根に使われている吉野杉を生きている素材と捉え、ほとんど無垢のまま加工せず、びっしりと並べ上から押さえつけるだけで作られています。
そして富士の湧水が滾々と注がれる水盤は、夏は涼しげなせせらぎを、冬はあたたかな陽の光を受け、時に建物の陰影を水面に映し込みながら、四季折々の姿で人々を楽しませてくれます。
客室はわずか8室。
お布団でお休みいただく和室、広々としたバルコニー付きの洋室、和洋の要素が混在したメゾネットなど、様々な客室タイプをご用意しています。どの客室からも松林と富士の伏流水が湧き出る水盤をご覧いただけます。
渡辺明氏の遺作ともいえる沼津倶楽部は、目で感受するだけでなく、時空間の中に身を委ねることができる、至福のひとときを提供いたします。
